Bio for Loren Morris

Loren Morris is an artist, author, and traditional witch whose work bridges folklore and nature with the everyday sacred. With more than twenty-five years of practice in traditional witchcraft, Loren weaves spells through art, story, and craft, creating a world where magic is both beautiful and practical.

Her creations range from handcrafted spell cords and simmer pots to decorative and purposeful bottles, mirrors, and statuary. Her work has been featured by collectors and set designers alike, including contributions to the production of Disney’s Hocus Pocus 2. Loren is also the author of The Crafty Witch’s Guide to Cord Magic, forthcoming from Weiser Books in July 2026.

Loren has taught workshops through WitchCon and continues to share her knowledge through her shop, Primitive Witchery, where she focuses on reviving timeless forms of hearth and folk magic. She also creates ongoing content for her Patreon community, exploring fairy tale magic, historical witch trial research, and Shakespearean magical practice.

When she isn’t writing or creating, she can often be found tending her garden, caring for rescued animals, volunteering at a local raptor sanctuary, or spending time with her family.
