Psychiatry and the Occult: a workshop to guide witches, magicians and priesthood/leaders within lodges, groups and covens.

The magical, witchcraft and occult communities attract a wide range of participants, seekers who search for power, for meaning and for knowledge. Some seek to interact with spirits or ancestors, while others learn the Art to better their finances, career ventures and love life. These intentions, whether noble or material, can be manifested through an interaction with the unseen world- psychic forces, the divine, or the Gods- depending on an individual’s religious and/or spiritual background. Yet, the occult sciences can be dangerous- as can be initiation- and it is important for leaders in lodges/covens, as well as practitioners themselves, to maintain good mental health, but more importantly, to recognise when a student’s (or their own) mental health is declining.

Join Stephanos for a workshop that will educate you on mental health issues that are vital to the safe and effective practice of the occult sciences and witchcraft. He will educate you on different illnesses, their manifestations, red flags to look out for, green flags, as well as (the benefits and risks of) entheogenic usage in ritual. He will provide case studies and examples and will also answer questions that participants may have.
