Bio for Thea Prothero
Thea Prothero blends academic rigour with lived spiritual experience. She is the author of two foundational texts: Heathenry for the Solitary Practitioner, and A Guide to Pilgrimage, both published by Moon Books. Currently she is a postgraduate student at UHI studying an MLitt in Viking Studies. Her work focuses on reclaiming the “hidden treasures” of the landscape from ancestral history in old churches to the whispers of the Landvaettir. Whether trekking through bogs in Denmark, or studying the sagas, Thea’s mission is to help seekers anchor their modern craft in the deep roots of the past.
