Dr. Swastik Banerjee hails from the mystic land of India, from the eastern region of Bengal, a landscape long known for its deep currents of Tantric worship and devotion. Born into a traditional Brahmin family rooted in sacred practice, he carries forward a living lineage shaped by ritual, discipline, and transmission. A Doctorate in Philosophy from the University of Calcutta, he is an academic by profession, specialising in Kashmir Śaivism, Trika, and Kaula traditions, where questions of consciousness, selfhood, and embodiment are explored with both textual precision and experiential depth.

Initiated at the highest level within Kaula Tantra, across both Kālī Kula and Śrīvidyā, he holds the rare and exalted Sarvadhikāra Mahāsāmrājya Sadāmnāya Dīkṣā, marking him as a lineage-bearing practitioner trained under accomplished gurus to continue and transmit this esoteric current.
