Bio for Mary du Plessis
Mary du Plessis picked up her first tarot deck as a prop for her Halloween costume in 1985. She started giving readings to the party guests, using her intuition to describe the pictures on the cards and was intrigued with the way the cards connected with each person’s story.
Mary currently serves as Secretary and newsletter editor for the Tarot Association of British and International members (TABI), and the Tableau module instructor for TABI’s Intermediate Level training course.
She is a 22nd generation Dragon Gate priest (daoist), a second-degree priestess in the Cabot tradition, and Bard with the Order of Bards, Ovates & Druids. Tarot has been at the core of her practice, woven throughout these varied and connected paths.
