Come along on a journey into the hidden world of Southeastern American Hoodoo and the unique elements of this magical tradition. We will look at the history, the magical practices and even the paranormally charged atmosphere of Hoodoo in the southeastern United States. This form of Hoodoo, while sharing features with Hoodoo of the Mississippi Delta and the traditions of New Orleans, developed its own unique characteristics which endure to the present day. We will meet famous Rootdoctors such as Doctor Buzzard, Doctor Eagle, The White Prince, and Doctor Snake. We will delve into spell work, making “roots,”removing curses, divination as well as entities like the Plat-Eye, the Boo Hag and Haints aplenty!
