Join Austrian Druid and author Christian Brunner on a journey to his native Alps and back in time to learn about the witch trials in the heart of Europe.

Not only are we exploring the socio-economic circumstances that caused the deadly spiral of the witch panics and hunts, but we will also hear first-hand accounts of the witnesses and the accused on what they saw, did, and why they practiced witchcraft.

And, most important of all, we will

• Hear actual spells as they were done 600 to 200 years ago,
• Dissect these spells in order to make them actionable in the 20th century, and
• Find substitutions for no longer available ingredients such as “a patch of the clothes of a hanged thief”.

This is traditional Witchcraft as it was practiced in the Renaissance, where folks just did the Magic that needed to be done in an environment where, while official Christian, the Pagan roots of the culture still shone through strongly.
