Come join Etain Arngunnr and learn about the ancient and modern use of stones in magical practice. From gems and crystals to massive megaliths, stones have played a crucial role in ancient cultures across the world and still do today.

Many modern members of occult practices use gems, crystals, minerals, and stones in their everyday practice. In this workshop, you will explore both the hidden history that we can rediscover by looking through a scientific and cultural lens, and how old and new megalithic structures and stone circles are playing a role in the revival of Earth Spirituality.

In this workshop you’ll:

• Discover the inherent properties of well-known stones such as quartz (learn about triboluminescence!) and why stones such as lapis and carnelian are associated with deities and authority.
  
• Discuss how the ancients used stones to erect markers, megaliths, stone circles, and astronomical alignments to the Sabbats.
  
• Highlight the modern ritual use of ancient megalithic sites such as Stonehenge and the Rollright Stones.
  
• Learn how the Earth Spirituality community has erected a massive stone circle in PA and how it is a focal point for ritual and magic. As featured in the book “Stone Circles: A Modern Builder’s Guide to The Megalithic Revival” by Rob Roy, the Four Quarters community encompasses Witches, Druids, Santerians, First Nations, Stregas, and other earth-focused and occult groups who have worked side by side to raise a megalithic circle over the past 30 years.
