These kinds of rituals are employed in various situations—when someone is plagued by family disputes and bickering, a crumbling marriage, frequent or inexplicable illnesses, and more.

Some of the methods used for breaking magic are extremely archaic and show strong parallels to ancient rituals. Alongside these folkloric relics, modern and modernized rituals are now also used for the same purposes.
