Join Elie Barnes and Kathi Bonnabel for a heartfelt discussion on magical herbalism, land stewardship, and community empowerment through the green arts.

Elie Barnes is a biodynamic magical herb gardener, professional psychic, and Alexandrian Witchcraft priestess. Kathi Bonnabel, also a Witchcraft priestess, runs the Master Herbalism Program created by Paul Beyerl. Kathi was raised in Louisiana and learned about folk healing, laying on of hands, and medical herbal remedies throughout her early years. She met Reverend Paul when she moved to Seattle and began the MHP study. After Reverend Paul’s passing in 2021, Kathi became the full-time program administrator.

Both Elie and Kathi are passionate home gardeners and lovers of the land. They became friends through Paul Beyerl’s work and continue a lifelong friendship. In this WitchCon class, they will ask and answer questions about using herbalism and gardening as a practice for developing true independence from the systems of authoritarian governments.

They will talk about starting community gardens and building space for people of all walks of life to learn to grow herbs and food, to make medicines for humans and animals, and to create sacred space on the land. They’ll also share book recommendations and discuss how to study online as well.
