Mugwort (Artemisia spp.) is a common roadside “weed” that deserves our respect and attention.

This talk will be a deep dive into the folklore and magick of this potent medicinal and spiritual plant. The ancient history of its uses will be covered; it was a staple of Anglo-Saxon and Chinese medicine and was valued by many other cultures. We will share ideas for how to use the plant safely in rituals and for private magical practice.

Mugwort is a Lunar herb which can facilitate past life recall and channeling. It is used to remove or alter addictions by helping bring up and release past life trauma. It facilitates astral travel, fosters imagination and creativity, and increases sensitivity to others.

In this class you will learn to use Mugwort for scrying, for lucid dream work, and as an esculent (edible) plant.
