This lecture explores the alignment of Daoist philosophy, the ecological stewardship of Druidry, and the discoveries of contemporary science to reframe magic as participatory, sovereign, and grounded.
The object of this talk is for attendees to better understand how the alignment of our individual nature with the external world, and intentionally focused action creates meaningful change in our magical practice that is grounded in practical use and application.
Participants will explore:
The Dao as the cornerstone and connection of all things
Wu Wei (effortless action) as a model for effective magic
The Druid concept of Awen as inspiration and flow
How to craft spells and magical workings in alignment with personal nature
The session concludes with an exercise designed to help recognize personal nature and how to construct a Dao-aligned spell to enhance the effectiveness of magical work.
This talk is suitable for practitioners, scholars, skeptics, and seekers interested in practical and grounded magic.
