Dr. John “Apollonius” Opsopaus has practiced magic, divination, and Neopaganism since the 1960s and has been active in the Pagan community since the 1980s. He frequently presents workshops both online and in person on Hellenic magic and Neopaganism, Pythagorean theurgy, divination, and related topics. He is the designer and author of the Pythagorean Tarot (2001, 2nd ed. 2023), and a number of books, including “The Oracles of Apollo: Practical Ancient Greek Divination for Today,” “Secret Texts of Hellenic Polytheism: A Practical Guide to the Restored Pagan Religion of George Gemistos Plethon,” “The Oracles of Homer and the Bones,” “Pythagorean Theology and the Esoteric Elements,” “The Orphic Holodemiurgia: A Contemplative Practice drawn from the Orphic and Pythagorean Traditions,” and “Cebes’ Path to Enlightenment.” He has written more than 40 publications in various magical and Pagan magazines.
