Mimi Curry originates from North Carolina. Growing up in the foothills, she developed her gifts while learning her practice from her grandmother. Her roots are in German folk magic, but she is also an initiate and practitioner of Ifá. She is one of the beloved psychics at Hex New Orleans, where she reads tarot, practices palmistry, and performs mediumship. She is the owner and sole proprietor of The Sea Witch Emporium, where she makes custom-made magical bath and herbal products, as well as performs spiritual work and coaching for clients.
