Bio for John Corvus
John Corvus is a Rromani Wayfarer and Divination Practitioner/Omnimancer, working with various communities for nearly 30 years. An active member of the Niagara Pagan Men's Circle and part of the Dragon Ritual Drummers, he is also the guardian of the Saint Sara e Kali Shrine in Hamilton and an adept in certain houses dealing with old-world traditional “folk-work.” He is currently working on bringing a better understanding of the rich history and diverse cultures of the Romani and Sinti peoples, along with teaching some of the more accessible parts of one of their magickal traditions. Coin-casting and jangling are long-time instruments, which he fervently teaches. A former Dharma Teacher in the Chan Buddhist tradition and a respected elder and licensed Ritual Officiant, able to perform legal weddings and rituals in the province of Ontario and abroad, John Corvus advocates for public spaces and equal opportunity for the communities he serves.
