Bio for Georgi Mishev
Georgi Mishev, PhD, born in 1982, is a Bulgarian author and researcher specializing in the ancient cultures and religions of the Mediterranean world. His focus includes magic practices, rituals, and ancient relics within the folklore of the Balkan peoples. He holds a bachelor's degree in Russian and German languages, a master's degree in the Preservation of Cultural-Historical Heritage in the Republic of Bulgaria (with a thesis on the Thracian material and immaterial cultural-historical heritage in the Thracian cult center of Starosel), and a doctoral degree in the field of cultural-historical heritage (with a PhD thesis on Bulgarian traditional culture as an informational resource about magic in ancient Southeastern Europe).
