Bio for Falcon River
Falcon is a hillbilly butch witch who grew up in the Appalachian mountains of southwestern West Virginia, climbing the trees and crawling into every cave she could find. As a child, she was trained in traditional folk magic and medicine by her family elders, a cunning man and granny woman. Falcon is an ordained Dianic Priestess, lifelong woodworker, and craftswoman. She has helped create and support women's ritual circles since 1976, teaching practical energetic and magical skills for daily life. Falcon teaches online classes, including a feminist approach to the Norse Runes, spellcraft, and tree lore through Guardians of the Grove, a branch of Temple of Diana, Inc.
