She was born with audio and visual psychism and an intense interest in understanding the unseen world of spirits. She was born into an esoteric-minded family in Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1964 and was raised in Northwest Florida. Family members had large pieces of land where she spent her childhood living in native woods and on waterways. Her maternal grandmother and great-grandmother were herbal healers and natural psychics. She has a degree in Philosophy and Comparative Religion and has ten years of training in ritual magic and Western occult practice with the Servants of the Light Occult School. Elie has extensive training and practice in folk magic and herbalism, with specialties in Tarot, medical palmistry, astrological forecasting, and all types of magical spell workings. She is a prolific gardener and is a high priestess in an Alexandrian Witch covenstead in New Orleans.
