Bio for Linda Sever
Linda Sever is an Irish academic, art historian, documentary film-maker and author. Her PhD research was in pre-Christian imagery in post-conversion art. Prior to working in academia she worked for the BBC as a Documentary researcher and director, mainly in the BBC’s History and Archaeology Unit.
She has presented at many international academic and non-academic conferences and speaks primarily on early medieval magic, folklore and magical landscapes. She also runs workshops on magic, shamanic practices, runes, ogham and attuning to sacred landscapes, as well as teaching psychic and mediumship development classes. She is one of the judges for the CARTA Tarot and Cartomancy awards and facilitates events for TABI - Tarot Association of British and International Members.
Linda currently lives in the rural north west of England, with eleven cats and a variety of wildlife.
